Indivisible is looking for assistance with promoting their event by distributing flyers and posters to local businesses in Grass Valley and Nevada City.

Event Volunteer Coordinator Team - https://www.mobilize.us/indivisiblenevadacounty/event/828883/
The Volunteer Coordinators make sure volunteers know what to do, feel appreciated, and have a good experience. This role involves planning with Indivisible Nevada County, good communication, and making sure the right people are in the right place to help events run smoothly.

This volunteer will staff the booth during the protest—collecting donations, answering questions, distributing information about Indivisible, and handing out free water to attendees.

Crowd Watcher -https://www.mobilize.us/indivisiblenevadacounty/event/830669/
Crowd Watchers will be present within the crowd to help maintain order. Responsibilities include reminding participants to stay on sidewalks, assisting with safe street crossings when necessary, and helping de-escalate any tension between protesters and counter-demonstrators.

Food Bank Collection - During the Event

September is Hunger Action Month, and with rising prices and more people facing food insecurity, we want to do our part.

For People who are bringing non-perishable food items to the rally, and INC donate them to the local food Bank to help our neighbors in need. The most needed items are canned meat (like tuna), canned fruit, mixed vegetables, diced tomatoes, peanut butter, soups, and baby food. Cake mix and frosting are also needed to help make a child's birthday special.

Look for the silver bags along the sidewalks to drop off your donations.
We’re meeting early to beat the heat, but don’t forget your sunscreen, water, umbrellas, chairs, or anything else you need to stay comfortable!

Safety/Medic on Event Day

We're seeking a current or retired EMT, nurse, medic, or someone with emergency or Red Cross training. This volunteer would be available during the protest to assist with any medical needs or emergencies that may arise.
