ICE Out For Good: National Day of Solidarity with Minnesota
While Friday will be a nonviolent day of solidarity, we’re not talking about sitting around singing kumbaya. We’re talking about putting pressure on some of the economic powerhouses of Minnesota to end their complicity with Trump’s deportation machine and demand that ICE get the &$*^ out for good. These events will focus attention on ICE brutality, celebrate the bravery of those standing up for their neighbors in Minneapolis and across the Twin Cities, and demand that businesses speak out and take immediate action to protect their customers and communities from ICE.
Please make signs that stand in solidarity with MN and demand ICE OUT FOR GOOD! Bring your friends, your signs, and your enthusiasm!

Time's UP, STAND UP!
This protest is about demanding accountability, justice, and peace. We are calling on Congress, the administration, and all those in power to follow the law, respect human lives, and serve the public—not their own agendas.
Postcard Party
Postcard Party November 17th - New Location - The Northern Queen - Sign up here.
Trump—backed by GOP leadership—is failing our country. It's up to us, the people, to speak out, stand up, and defend our rights. We refuse to accept the corruption and chaos of this administration. Trump has made it clear: he’s willing to sell out America’s future—and we’re not going to let that happen.
At this Postcard Party, we’re turning frustration into action by focusing on the next steps after the election.
Ro Khanna
The Nevada County Democrats and Indivisible Nevada County have joined forces to host Congressman Ro Khanna for a special Veterans Day Town Hall at the Center for the Arts on Tuesday, November 11th.
This community event will feature a conversation on the issues that matter most — from supporting veterans and their families to strengthening our economy, protecting democracy, and building resilient communities in Nevada County and beyond. Following brief remarks, Congressman Khanna will take questions directly from attendees in an open Q&A.
The event tickets are $20 to cover our costs and open to the public; doors open at 5:00 PM and the program begins at 5:30 PM. All are welcome to participate, honor the contributions of veterans, and share their voices in shaping the future.
General Admission Tickets are limited: Click Here for a ticket.
No Kings 2.0
Our peaceful movement is growing—louder, stronger, and more united every day.
“NO KINGS” isn’t just a slogan—it’s a principle rooted in the very foundation of our nation. Born in the streets, chanted by millions, and carried on posters from city blocks to rural town squares, it unites people across the country in a common fight against dictatorship.
The president may believe his power is absolute. But this is America—we don’t have kings, and we don’t bow to chaos, corruption, or cruelty.
Join us. Grow the movement. Stand for democracy.
All No Kings events are grounded in a core principle: nonviolent action. We expect every participant to de-escalate tensions and engage respectfully, even when challenged. All actions must be lawful. For everyone’s safety, weapons of any kind—including those that are legally carried—are not permitted at our events.
Join us on the Brunswick Bridge!

At this Postcard Party, we’re turning frustration into action by focusing on Proposition 50:
The actions of Trump and the Texas Republicans represent an existential threat to our democratic system. If Californians don’t act now, the GOP will rig the 2026 election and steal control of Congress. The time is now to protect the system that gives us all a voice.

Town Hall
Nevada County Democrats and Indivisible Nevada County are hosting a Town Hall to inform the community about Proposition 50 and why its passage is so important and California's response to ICE Raids and the National Guard.
What is Proposition 50? Temporary Changes to Congressional District Maps in Response to Texas' Partisan Redistricting Legislative Constitutional Amendment
In response to Texas’ mid-decade partisan congressional redistricting, this measure temporarily requires California to use new congressional district maps—approved by the Legislature in August 2025—for all congressional elections through 2030.
Maintains California’s independent Citizens Redistricting Commission and directs it to resume its role in drawing congressional maps in 2031, following the 2030 Census and every ten years thereafter.
Establishes a formal state policy in support of using fair, independent, and nonpartisan redistricting commissions nationwide.
