The Democratic Women of Nevada County (DWNC) will sponsor a Candidate and Student Conversation on Saturday, Oct. 3, at Nevada County Media Center, 355 Crown Point Circle, Suite D, Grass Valley.  Doors open at 10 a.m., with the program beginning at 10:30 a.m. The event is open to the public.

Six school trustee candidates—Olivia Pritchet, Keith Allen, Tara Marino, Emily Gallup, Mike Dent and Jeff Dellis—will introduce themselves and share their views on education. The forum is designed to encourage collaborative nonpartisan politics to facilitate hearing the concerns of students.
