Do you remember way back in November 2024?

We had just come out of a horrific election. 
Voters had chosen to bring back an administration 
based in cruelty, chaos, and corruption. 

A small group met to discuss re-energizing our local chapter of Indivisible. 
Little did we know just how crazy 2025 would be. 
And little did we know that our movement would gain such traction locally and nationally.

As the first year of Trump's second term nears its end, the number of Americans who consider themselves MAGA supporters is down to just 30%, while supporters of the No Kings protest movement, inspired by Trump’s abuses and power grabs, enjoy 43% support!

Thank you to all of you who showed up this year in so many ways -
protesting, writing postcards, making phone calls, hanging anti-ICE posters, speaking out, setting up for events, financially supporting INC, 
paying attention, and many more.

We can't succeed without you guys. 
Happy Holidays to you and your family! 
And here's to more success in 2026.

What is our most effective way to fight back against this regime? 
Defeat the MAGA GOP in the midterm election in November. 
We can't just focus on Congress. The down ballot elections in Nevada County matter - school boards, city council, county supervisors, election officials, NID, judges, and more. Our job will be to educate our local community and get the vote out to make sure we elect individuals who share our values.

Civic Action Night - The Big Election Ahead
Monday, January 26, 5 - 7pm
The Northern Queen Event Room, Nevada City

Join INC and former Nevada County School Superintendent Terry McAteer to discuss the open seats in our county. What is the plan to elect people who can make a positive difference? We'll also be writing postcards to voters in key states to help combat disinformation.
