6/9/25 Newsletter - Breaking News! Actions that Need You TODAY

STRONGER TOGETHER

This is a big week.

What can you do TODAY?

1 - Show Up Today!

The federal involvement in LA this weekend was another step closer to Trump's authoritarian takeover. Cities throughout California are rising up today in response.

TODAY IN SACRAMENTO! March in solidarity with LA!

Monday, June 9, 1pm

Meet at Cesar Chavez Plaza, 910 I Street, Sacramento

MARCH to the ICE field office, 650 Capitol Mall

2 - Sign up for Phonebanking Today!

The Big, Ugly Bill is now being rewritten in the Senate before heading back to the House for a second vote. We’re focused on maximizing senators' changes and delaying their process as much as we can -- because every change they make, and every day they take, will make it that much harder for the bill to pass both chambers.

Last week the Big, Ugly Bill had a tough time - between Elon not supporting it, the Congressional Budget Office saying it will add $2.4 trillion to the national deficit, and House Republicans admitting they regret their vote.

Now is the time for us to slow it down even further and put pressure on Republican senators.

Please sign up for a phonebank to alert and mobilize voters in battleground states against the megabill. Our phonebankers connect constituents directly to their senators' offices so they can apply even more pressure.

Anyone, in any state, can join a phonebank. You just need a phone and a computer. Training and support are available.

SIGN UP NOW!
