Rise Against the Regime National Protest

Rise Against the Regime is a national day of nonviolent protest where communities across the country rise together to defend our civil and human rights from the ongoing attacks by the Trump administration. It's a reminder that in a true democracy, power belongs to the people. This is about solidarity, courage, and hope. We are part of a growing movement that refuses to back down. We show up for each other, and together, we rise.
This protest is Co-sponsored by 50501, Indivisible and the Nevada County Dems. Signs will be available at the Bank of America parking lot or bring your own. Meet at the intersection of Brunswick and Sutton on the Safeway side in front of the old Three Kings restaurant. Bring your friends. Let's let them see our numbers!

Postcard Writing Parties

Join us at this great community event to speak out! We’ll be writing to our US House Rep Kevin Kiley, President Trump, as well as voters in key elections this fall. At each party we hope to write at least 500 postcards. Come for the activism and stay for the community, good food, and libations!

Sign Making and Lollipop Labeling Party (Dems of NC event)

Join us at 510 North Pine, Nevada City to make protest signs for the Aug 2nd Rise Against the Regime protest and to help place labels such as “Protect Freedom” and “Protect Democracy” on 1,000 lollipops for the County Fair Booth. Call Bob at 530-388-6479 for questions.

Help with attracting new members, educating our community, collecting donations, and good old fashioned fair fun (INC-style). TRAINING INCLUDED
We will schedule four shifts each day that will be 3-4 hours.
